  • Green Salad with Chevre
  • This salad is incredible! This is the way the finer restaurants do it. This one is sure to impress your gourmet friends! One bag of good organic salad mix, about a handful of raisins. or dried cherries, or cranberries, cucumber, a little onion, a handful of chopped hazlenuts. toss then take about 4-6 oz of plain chevre and add to salad in dollops, toss once again and serve with your favorite salad dressing. I like it with Annies Green Goddess or a good vinegarette! Add a fresh Baguette and a glass of good wine maybe some grilled salmon and there you go!

  • Chevre Wraps
  • Spread a flour tortilla with any kind of Chevre. Arrange with sliced vegetables of choice: Onion, lettuce, tomato, Red or Green Pepper, etc. Add smoked ham or turkey. Roll up and slice diagonally. Hold together with a toothpick. Enjoy!
  • Uses for Farmhouse cheese
  • Use like you would feta but it will have a milder flavor with the same texture. Lots of people prefer this cheese over feta. One of my favorites is to do a pasta salad with a good amount of farmhouse at least 6 oz. Use fresh tomatoes cucumber, and lots of fresh basil (I use the whole bunch) and chopped onion (red or white) I use a whole onion, if you like garlic add garlic. Salt the vegetables and let sit for a few minutes, then add balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Let sit to absorb all the flavors then add your cooked pasta and cheese, toss and serve with some good bread. The fresher the ingredients the better the salad!
